Quality, schedule, creativity, and fun! We had an old brick fireplace torn down and replaced by elegant cabinetry, we had a bathroom remodeled, and some flooring/tiling/painting. The fireplace and tiling projects were done with sound structural engineering (involving some additional beams etc.). The cabinetry was designed with our inputs and looks fantastic (includes a wine cooler, liquor cabinet, lots of shelving). The bathroom looks elegant and modern. Everything was done per schedule. Issues and hiccups that inevitably arose were handled competently. The whole engagement was fun and friendly. Yes, we probably paid a bit more than we could have elsewhere, but it was totally worth it.

We recently did a full kitchen remodel with IKB. Working with Chris and his team was fantastic. The whole process went smoothly from start to finish. Karen, our designer, was an absolute delight. She quickly zeroed in on exactly what we wanted and then guided us through every step of the process. Rich, one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet, managed all the construction at the worksite (with a shoutout to Pedro). He and Karen took care of every detail working with all the subcontractors, every one of whom had a long, established history as part of IKB’s team. We could not be happier with our new kitchen. We are thrilled with our remodel. IKB renovated our ground floor after extensive water damage. Chris, Lucy, and Elena were communicative throughout the planning and construction process and Pedro and Rich were meticulous with the work. We finally feel like we’re home.
